5K Information

Registration: 8am- All pre-registered runners will have the opportunity to pick up their race packets in advance on Thursday 6-8pm & Friday 5-7pm prior to event day. If you are unable to pick up early, registration will begin at 8am on event day. Anyone who has not pre-registered will have an opportunity to do so at this time, but T-shirts will be first come, first serve while supplies last. 5K Race: 9am- The 5K Run will start at 9am at Cottell Park, follow a measured and timed, 3.1 mile marked course around surrounding neighborhoods and end back at Cottell Park Award Ceremony: 9:40am - Immediately following the race, there will be an awards ceremony where the top male and female runners in each age category will be awarded a trophy as well as the top overall winners. At this time, all the pediatric cancer survivors will be called up to stage and be honored will a medal of courage. Festival: 10am-2pm - The inspirational 1 mile Butterfly Walk will begin at 10am, followed by a festival filled with games, activities, food and fun for the whole family. Click Here for Course map. Strollers are welcome. Please note - we are promoting the 5K as a run however you are allowed to do it as a run/walk and at your own pace. With that
said, please be aware that we have allotted about 40 minutes to the 5K and it is a timed race with an awards ceremony.
