Welcome to the 4thAnnual Butterfly Walk for CancerFree
KIDS. This event is not your average charity walk it’s a full day of fun and festivities for the whole family.
Check
In and Registration: 9am-10am.
This is your time to pick up your T-Shirt and event
day bracelet. If you are a pre-registered non-team member, please check in at the registration desk. For those who are
pre-registered team members, please find your team captain at your team's meeting point. Those who haven’t
pre-registered can do so during this time, however T-Shirts are first come first serve so be sure to come early to avoid the last minute rush.
Registration Hour: The girl scouts will be set up
under the main arts & crafts tent with all the supplies needed to make team signs. They will also have
supplies to glitter & decorate butterfly wands, temporary tattoos & some simple face painting to keep the kids
occupied! In addition, Stroller Fit will be on the main stage providing some warm up excersizes
to get you moving and energized for the day.
Team Assembly:Teams
will be given a specific location on the field to assemble before the walk.Team captains will be able
to pick up the t-shirts and bracelets for their team prior to event day. Team members will then have the
opportunity to meet your team captain at the designated
team meeting location to get your t-shirt and avoid the check in lines. Teams can compete for an exciting award in one of
three categories: Largest Team, Top Fundraising and Best Team Spirit,.

Survivor
Ceremony: 9:45am
A guest emcee will welcome everyone with a few announcements for the day. Then, each pediatric
cancer survivor has an opportunity to come up on stage and receive a special gift to celebrate their courage.
Walk begins:
10am
The 4thannual
Butterfly Walk for CancerFree KIDS starts with an easy one mile walk around Cottell Park. The sight of 1500 people walking
united against pediatric cancer is truly inspirational! The park
and walk route are handicap accessible.Strollers and friendly pets on a leash are always welcome.
Adopt a Tree:
Along the Walk you’ll notice many trees that have been decorated

FUN FESTIVAL: 10am-2pm
The Fun Festival kicks off with festivities
for the whole family. It’s an afternoon of celebration and it’s all included with your registration and event
day bracelet.

Passports: Be sure participate in the scavenger hunt
and have your passport stamped throughout the day. Once filled, you can turn in it to get a special treat!
Junior Jog: Children 12 and under can participate
in a 1/4 mile race around the pond.
Parking
& Directions: There is limited
parking at Cottell park, so we have set up a satellite parking lot at the North Cincinnati Community Church, 6170
Irwin-Simpson Rd. There will be shuttle buses running from 6:30am-3pm between the church and the park.
