Team Website Tool:

Once you have created a team in Active, you can access a team website tool that will help you see your team roster, email members, edit your fundraising page and more.  To access this team tool, just log in at:  https://www.active.com/teams/index.cfmClick Here for some tips on how to navigate through your team tool site.

Customize Your Own FREE Team Fundraising Website:

When you establish your team name in Active.com, a team fundraising page will automatically be set up for you.  In addition, each participant when they register will have their own fundraising page established.  You can log in and customize your page in two ways.  The first is by logging in through the team tool website listed above.  The other way is to go to http://www.active.com/donate/2012butterflywalk and click the search button to find your team name or own name.  Click on the team page or personal page you would like to edit.  Once it comes up, there will be an edit button to click. 

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at any time and I’d be happy to help!  Once you have the page established, I will link it to your team listing on our Butterfly Walk website.  Please share your website with all your team members, friends and family so they can not only donate online to your team directly, but they can also use it as a tool to share with their friends and family to help collect donations themselves.

Donation & Pledge Coupons: 

Also available is a donation form and pledge coupons.  These can be used by you or you can forward them on to any and all of your team members who may want to collect donations “by hand”.  The pledge coupons can be given out to friends, family neighbors, book club, mom’s groups, cub scouts, school, etc – anywhere you may find people interested in your cause - and those individuals can mail their donations in directly to the CancerFree KIDS office along with the pledge coupon.  The donation form can be used if you (or any members) actually collect checks or cash from people to send in to the office yourself.

Please know that these are tools to help you if you wish to use them – they are by no means required to participate.  Please use whatever tools you may be comfortable with.    

Team Member Registration:

Remember a team must consist of at least 10 members.  Each member receives a discount off the individual registration fees and is entitled to all the same great benefits.  Team member registration is easy and you can find by clicking here.  During the registration process, you will have the option to register up to 6 people in one household per registration form – either online or via a mail in registration form. 

Team Prizes:

****totals are based on registration/donations received by Friday May 11th at 8pm ****

  1. Top Fundraising Team:  Be the team captain to have the highest total money raised, including registration fees and donations.
  2. Largest Team:   Be the team captain with the most number of registered walkers and virtual walkers combined.  Virtual walking is a great option for those family or friends that can’t actual be there on event day, but want to be a member of your team.
  3. Best Team Spirit:  Does this need any explanation?  Show your team pride and win a prize!

Disclaimer:  All teams are eligible to win the great prizes except the Hanna’s Helpers team (because the team captain is the event coordinator!)
